Since its foundation, Arctic World Club has been cooperating with various charitable foundations, and this cooperation helps to open new opportunities on the way to the improvement of modern society.
Together with the international children's Caudwell Children Fund we are trying to make more accessible the latest technologies and equipment in the treatment of young patients in need of expensive operations. In 2017 the club became the organizer of the charity bike ride "From Tuscany to Monaco", which was attended by famous athletes led by the legend of Formula 1, two-time world champion Mika Hakkinen. The proceeds, £ 140,000, were used to treat sick children. In 2018, Arctic World Club was the General sponsor of the charity bike ride Cassis to Monaco Circle Challenge, which had risen a record 46 million rubles amount of donations. All funds were directed to the development of projects that open access to the most efficient methods of autism correction: behavioral analysis and biomedical intervention.
Arctic World Club provides assistance in various parts of the world, supporting Russian and international charities: Red Cross Foundation, Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, Gift of Life Foundation, Prince Dmitry Romanov Charity Foundation, Winter ball foundation and the Action for Russia's Children Foundation. We help orphans because there is no child in the world which an orphanage would be worthy of. Thus, in 2014, together with the UNESCO Foundation, we opened a school with a football bias for orphans in the Republic of Ghana. Within record time (just in 244 days!), a football field equipped with the latest irrigation system, fully meeting FIFA standards and a primary school building for 240 pupils had been built.
Together with Midural Group we became the organizers of the annual hockey tournament among orphanages of Sverdlovsk region. The first tournament for the Cup of Sysert orphanage was held in 2013, which was attended by four teams of youth athletic centers. However, soon the project went beyond the original goal, and today our main task is to attract as many teams of orphanages as possible to participate in the tournament. There are more than 50 social rehabilitation centers for minors and orphanages in the region already. It allows to make tournament more mass and to hold it in a format of regular competition, while assigning the orphanage teams to youth sports clubs creates additional opportunities for socialization of each player.
Arctic World Club actively supports and develops charitable and socially significant initiatives in Russia and abroad. The total amount of funds allocated to charity has already exceeded 1 million euro.
Only thanks to like-minded people, members of the club and our big team we can render help avoiding conventions and stepping over stereotypes.
