Deividas Jocius and Donatas Zvicevicius progressed throughout the race, finishing in the top 10 in their category.
Each day in Rally Sweden was a test of strength for Arctic Energy World Rally Team pilots. On Saturday Deividas and Donatas, driving a Peugeot 208 R2, ran into technical issues. But this did not stop them from showing their skill and finishing within the top five in their category. At the end of day two, the Russian team’s racers were number eight.
The distance at the final day of Rally Sweden was 52 kilometers – just three special stages, where it is hard to improve one’s position in the leaderboards. But this does not make the Swedish track any easier: each kilometer is a new challenge for the participants.
The Russian Arctic Energy World Rally Team pilots Deividas Jocius and Donatas Zvicevicius successfully completed the three special stages on Sunday and finished the second stage of the World Rally Championship. Following the successful Rally Monte Carlo, the Russian racers completed their debut at Rally Sweden by ranking number eight – after the 17th place at the end of day one.
In two weeks, the World Rally Championship is arriving to America. The third stage of the series will take place in Mexico on March 8 to 11, which Arctic Energy World Rally Team from Russia will also be taking part in.
