The Monza National Circuit is a special place for the Arctic Energy team, as it was on this track that the team made its debut in the Mitjet Italia Championship last year. Moreover, the team made it's debut loudly: Arctic Energy driver Povilas Jankavičius won the weekend, showing excellent speed in all races. Povilas was helped by his knowledge of the track, which he had met earlier in the Ligier European Series.

The great news is that at the Monza stage the F1 legend Mika Salo will join the Arctic Energy team. But he will join not as a driver, but as a mentor to his son - Max Salo, who will ride for the first time in his career on a two-liter Mitjet!

“I can't wait to work with the pros from the Arctic Energy team who have been competing in various Mitjet competitions around the world for over 10 years. The track in Monza is truly iconic and I always enjoy coming back to this beautiful place! And judging by the level of intense competition in the Mitjet Italian Championship, the fight will be just right!” – shared Mika Salo.

“It is a great pleasure for us to have such a talented young pilot as Max on our team. He has competed in various series including F4 so it will be a very interesting weekend! As for Mika, he is a real legend who motivates us to aim for ever greater motorsport heights.” - said the team leader Sergei Egorov.

Arctic Energy team's mechanics, fortunately, managed to fix Mikhail Makarovsky's car after the Imola incident, and are currently working on settings to get the best speed on a track with many fast straights, which is the track in Monza.

The racing weekend will be held July 1-3 together with the European Le Mans Series, which will be fought between the top drivers of the planet. We can assure you that it will be a very hot weekend, don't miss it!
